A voice that will steal your heart and lift your spirit

Singer-songwriter Jackie Minton traverses the gap between the sacred and the secular, daring us to question if there was ever any distance between the two. Inspired by a long line of storytellers, her voice is evocative of the past while drawing us into the present with a clarity all her own.

Born in Texas, Minton picked up guitar and piano at a young age. She took to writing and in 2016 her debut EP Searching for Now gained the affection of listeners from around the globe. Five years of travel and studies fueled the artist’s growth, landing her in Nashville, Tennessee. She went on to crowdfund her full length album Earnest Voice, releasing it in 2021. Upon hearing this project, international artist Dermot Kennedy selected Minton to open for a stop on his 2022 US tour, breaking her into the national floor.

With the release of her newest album Sagesse, Jackie continues to surprise with her genre-bending folk. The project, titled by the French word for wisdom, nods to Minton’s experiences abroad and is a continuation of the themes of her EP Genesis, reminding us this is still only her beginning. Listen to Sagesse.
